Task 3- Confessions of an alchohloic

Raymond was a troublesome child.He always gave his parents a very hard time.He never used to study, not even for examinations!after school he would go out with his friends and hang around with bad company and engage in smoking and drinking. Raymond got addicted to alchohol and could not handle his drinks.

After a few months,Raymond realised that he was ruining his own future and he stop hanging around and started taking studding seriously.Now Raymond is a succesfsul Biusness man who is trying to stop his bad drinking habits.He was interviewed by a friend of mine yesterday and he told her confessions of an alchoholic.

He explained everything that happened to him in his younger days.He was not a bad student but due to peer preasure he got sucked into gangs and had to engage in smoking and drinking in order to fit in.The people in his group used to force him to drink and one day he got addicted to it.He had tried many times to stop but it just never worked.

Raymond told her that whenever he had problems or was stressed he would drink alchohol to relax and unwind.His parents used to scold him a lot and he became very rude a a point that he would drink in front of them while they were scolding him.He said it was a way to show them that i simply was not interestes in their lecture.

His habbits changed but still could not leave alchohol.His parents had enrolled him in a rehab center to help him with his drinking habbits.Then he came out he managed to stop for a few months but then got tempted to drink again.Now he has restraind himself from drinking and has managed to keep away from alchohol for at least a year now.

Task 2(part 2)-The room was badly decorated

John and Kate were getting married in 4 months.John's parents had purchased a huge Bunglow for them to move in after marriage.John and kate had hired a home decorator ,mike, to decorate their beautiful house.john and Kate had speacial plans for the decoration of their room and had wanted it a certian way.The layouts had been give to mike to handle and mike had promised a beautiful house.A few days before their marriage the house had been done.Both of them went down to have a look at their new home all done.The living room was very beautiful.It was time to check out thier bedroom.Upon entering,Kate and John got a shock.The room was badly decorated even after giving specific layouts.The room was given to mike to re-decorate and the room was done on time and to their liking.

Task 2(part1)- The girls were excited as they waited for the results

The girls favorite actress was Jennifer Aniston and they had watched all her movies and television shows.Last year Jennifer Aniston was nominated for Best Actress at the grammy awards and the girls had bought tickets to attend the show.The girls had saved up a lot of money so they could purchase seats which were close to the movie stars.They didnt manage to sit nearby jennifer Aniston and were quite upset.Awards after awards were being given out and it was time for the moment everyone had been waiting for.The girls were excited as they waited for the results.

''And the winner is....,Jennifer Aniston!"excliamed the host.

Everyone got up of their seats to give her a big hand of applause.The girls were very happy and the girls had managed to get her autograph as well!

Task 1-What are the Pro's and Con's of having two working parents?

Why work? Many parents work simply because they have to, to pay the bills, but the cost of childcare can take a significant share of their income. We weigh up the pros and cons of working and staying at home.

Try not to be influenced by stereotypes of parenthood. Being a working parent doesn't mean they'll neglect your child's needs, and staying at home doesn't mean a life of frustration.
There are plenty of working parents with bags of energy who spend a lot of time with their children; equally, there are exhausted at-home parents who can't seem to find a spare moment for anything.

If parents do work, then there'll be times when they'll face a crisis at work and thier partner will have to step in and handle the family duties that day. Equally, a family crisis such as their child becoming ill, or perhaps your nanny or childminder being unable to care for your child, means that one of them will have to handle the situation.It's important that they have the slack somewhere in your lives to handle this. What's unbearably stressful is when two working parents are both over-committed leaving no one to bail them out in a crisis.

Pro's

When two parents work,they contribute to a higher family income.
many parents are focused more on their careers.so instead of focusing on thier children they keep thier career going.
Many enjoy the intellectual challenges and social interaction of working life.But what is more important?enjoying your parenthood or work?Feeling valued in a work environment is not that important in my opinion.I would rather watch my child have thier first step,say their first word than coming home from work and regret no not being able to see my child through these moments.Giving your child the opportunity for an enriched social life in childcare is good.

Con's

Not get to spend as much time with your child is not a good thing because one day your child may not want to listen to you because you were not there from them.
Many parents be more tired than ever after returing home from work!when will they spend time with thier childern then?
Feel guilty is a common thing for working parents as they are probably never there for their children.
Find the weekends become a frenzy of shopping, washing and other chores is not unusuall for working parents.
Feel parents lurch from crisis to crisis over childcare arrangements and emergencies they tend to get very stressed.
